Exhibition in Moldova
Although I had a good summer to do this, I chose to run my “Moldova – tradition and spirituality” exhibition in the autumn. This autumn that is. Too much to do, too little time to do it during the summer, I guess. But it is worthy of your note that I had the time (and inclination, so to speak) to arrange this exhibition and the photographs to be displayed in a proper manner.

The series is about some aspects that makes Moldova special, in the eyes of a foreign visitor: religious resistance against the Soviets, the indomitable spirit of the Moldovans when it comes to working their ancestral land, old customs, and enveloping these all, a form of spirituality that amazes me every time I visit here. I feel really humbled most of the times when I hear how fiercely loyal are most of them to their land, their history, their heritage. All photographs taken on film, mainly with Nikon F series cameras.
Just three of photographs from the series I proposed for this happening:

The exhibition is not a personal one, but together with a friend painter and artist, Mihnea Baran. He will show some really good paintings and graphic art, really well made, showing his sensibility when it comes to art.
And because when 2 artists come together, a third one can’t be far away, we invited Lucia Padurariu, the founder of an association called “Simfonia Florilor” and a really good artistic events promoter to join us and become the master organizer of the entire thing. And that she did with the utmost grace, as usual. Thank you, Lucia, really appreciated !
The exhibition will take place at the Casa Nationala Art Center in the town of Nisporeni, Republic of Moldova, on the 17th of October 2025, and it will be opened until the 30th of November 2025. You are of course invited !
