Walking on the old and narrow streets of a medieval town is an adventure in itself, a truly interesting one. Even the sound of the town is dimmed to a faint buzz.

The almost touching walls of the houses, the narrow band of sky light above one's head, these streets (actual footpaths sometimes going one way) very often devoid of human - all these give an eerie atmosphere at times.
